MOVEMENT IS PROTEST
Dance is pain painted in pretty make-up and effortlessness.But it is pain, graft, struggle, and breath and sweat. And despite this it’s everything I need to feel alive.I’m done being trapped in this cycle.It’s not over…It never has been.Despite it feeling like it sometimes…Even if I tried to forget it,My body would remember and bring me back to this same moment…This same realisation…Until I can’t, I will.
UNTIL I CAN’T, I WILL.
